We take an average of 20,000 breaths a day. Studies have shown that slight abnormalities in our breathing pattern have profound effects on our physical, emotional and mental health. This can result in heart and respiratory problems, digestive disorders, anxiety, stress and panic attacks. Our general health and well being is intimately connected to the way we breathe.
In this workshop we will focus on both Pranayama (yogic breathing) and Western approaches to mindful breathing to bring you a well rounded study and understanding of breath and health.
